Due to extreme high temperatures we are asking all members to help us maintain grid integrity by reducing usage through these steps:

• Turn off or unplug appliances not in use

• Set the thermostat up a few degrees above normal

• Draw shades and blinds to block sunshine from heating up your home

• Avoid using appliances such as washers and dryers during peak hours of 3-8 p.m. daily

• Avoid using the electric range/oven for prolonged periods that can heat up your home and make A/C work harder

• Make sure all vents are open and clear to allow more efficient operation of air conditioning

We appreciate your cooperation and together we can navigate these extreme temperatures avoiding potential isolated power outages.
