The SimpleSaver Program is another was that Shelby Energy Cooperative is working to keep your electricity affordable and our environment healthy. This program is designed to reduce electricity use during peak demand periods when energy costs are highest. Participate by enrolling your smart thermostat or central air conditioner.

Smart Thermostat Program

Connected thermostats make it easy to manage your energy use. Enroll a qualifying Wi-fi enabled thermostat in the program to receive $10 per thermostat (up to 2 thermostats). If you purchased your thermostat on or after March 2, 2019, you may be eligible for an additional $100 per thermostat.

You can also earn an additional $20 annually in bill credits at the end of the summer season for participating!

Central Air Conditioner Program

Receive up to $20 annually for each central air conditioner you enroll. You will receive these credits each year you remain in the program.

You can also earn a one-time $10 bill credit just for signing up!
