Effective October 20, 2020, the Public Service Commission (PSC) has lifted the order to suspend disconnections of electric service for non-payment and regulated utilities across the state are resuming disconnections.
We understand this has been a challenging year and many of our members have been faced with unforeseen financial hardships due to the COVID-19 crisis.
For that reason, Shelby Energy will allow additional time for our members to prepare for repayment of past-due balances. If your bill is past-due, please contact us at 800-292-6585 as soon as possible to avoid an interruption of service.

Under direct supervision of the Manager of Operations performs daily construction and maintenance operations on power lines in accordance with Shelby Energy’s operating policies and procedures. Routinely works as a member of a crew. Ensures the safe and efficient use of equipment and tools while working on energized lines and structures with greatest attention to and the highest regards for Shelby Energy’s safety policies, RUS and OSHA guidelines.
